This was a sweet audiobook, but it didn't completely win me over. The story focuses heavily on healing and rebuilding a marriage. Unfortunately, the audiobook felt a little juvenile to me at times, and the pacing was so slow that my attention occasionally wandered off. Perhaps the book would have been better than the audio.
I wanted a bit more momentum. It was a quiet, emotional journey and thoughtful character growth, but with a slower pace and heavy focus on feelings may not work for everyone. For me, it landed somewhere in the middle. Enjoyable enough, just not unforgettable.
