About two months ago, I made the switch to Gmail and I absolutely love it. Here are a few reasons why it’s been such a great move for me.
Spam filtering. The spam filtering is phenomenal. Junk mail that used to clutter my inbox almost never makes it through anymore.
Multiple email accounts. I have four personal email accounts, plus Kevin has one too. Gmail lets me send and receive mail from all of them in one place, which makes life so much easier.
Search capabilities. I get a lot of email, especially with Freecycle, so being able to search my inbox the same way I search Google is a huge time saver.
Conversation folders. Emails with the same subject line stay grouped together in one conversation. No more digging around trying to find who said what and when.
Filters. I can automatically tag and archive newsletters I subscribe to and read them later when I actually have time.
If you haven’t made the switch yet, I highly recommend it.
