Taking the High Road (Barely)
I’ll be honest—I seriously considered mowing leaves last week just to ruin the back‑door neighbors’ Thanksgiving festivities.
You know the type.
The neighbors who throw their dog poop and grass clippings over the fence like it’s some sort of backyard offering.
I stood there for a long moment debating it. The mower was right there. The timing was perfect. But in the end, I resisted… mostly because I didn’t want to be that person—or worse, become just like them.
Which brings me to this week’s question:
Tell me about something you almost did—but didn’t—because you didn’t want to be as bad as the other guy.
Petty revenge? Tempting.
Moral high ground? Begrudgingly chosen.
Your turn.
