A Thousand Boy Kisses (A Thousand Boy Kisses, #1) by Tillie Cole - A Review

This one is definitely emotional, but in a soft, sentimental way. Rune and Poppy’s relationship feels really innocent and sincere, and it’s easy to see why their story sticks with people.

It’s a quick read too. The chapters move fast, and everything centers around feelings, memories, and that kind of deep, young love that feels all consuming. It’s clearly meant to pull at your heart, but there are enough sweet and hopeful moments to keep it from feeling too heavy the whole time.

That said, it can get a little repetitive emotionally, and sometimes it feels like the story is gently pushing you to feel a certain way. I didn’t always fully connect with that, but I could still appreciate the emotion behind it.

Overall, it’s a touching, easy to read romance that leaves you a little teary but not completely drained. Not perfect, but heartfelt and memorable enough to stick with you.
