This was a really easy, feel good read. Bob Goff comes across as genuinely kind and well intentioned, and his whole message about loving people boldly is hard not to like. The short chapters and story based style make it super approachable, and it feels more like listening to someone talk than reading something heavy.
That said, it does start to feel a bit repetitive. A lot of the stories circle back to the same idea about showing up, taking risks, and loving generously. It’s a good message, but I found myself wanting a little more depth instead of so many similar examples. Some stories were inspiring, but a few came off a little too polished or self focused, which pulled me out of it a bit.
Overall, it’s a light, encouraging read that works best when you just want something uplifting and simple. I probably wouldn’t reread it, but I can see it really resonating with people who want everyday reminders to lead with kindness.
