We just made it through all the kids’ school open houses, and everyone is excited about their teachers. N ended up with the same teacher G had last year—what are the odds? I was just telling a friend that had never happened in our family of six… and then it did.
School starts Monday, so we’re getting ready for the chaos. The elementary kids catch the bus at 6:18 a.m. (yikes), while J, now a sophomore, doesn’t get on until 8:35 a.m.—lucky him… except for band practice at 7:00.
Give me your best tips: how do you get ready for back‑to‑school or make that first week a little easier? I’m all ears!
