Wednesday's Photo

Woo Hoo! My oldest plays the trumpet in his High School marching band. They had their final competition on Saturday and placed second overall! Great Job Guys!!!! I think they should have won. Unfortunately, the winning band's director resigned the day before because he was arrested for indecent exposure.....SCARY STUFF!! My mom used to pray for each of us as we left for school. THANKS MOM!!!!!

Sorry these pictures are so awful...anyone have an old digital camera they like to donate to this mom of six?? Hee, hee....

  4. I had to comment you back about the "admirer on the bench"! Apparently he is the crush of his kindergarten class, and I wasn't even aware! Last week I was e-mailed by one of the Moms about how the girls are fighting over who his girlfriend is, while at dance class!! Aren't they too young? Good thing he rarely talks about them!

  12. Way to go. That brings back such memories. We were a competitive marching band in high school as well and we had so many good times. There's nothing like it and the friendships.

  14. I was in marching band and my folks loved coming to our competitions. Actually, 20 years later, my mom still goes to a few competitions.

Scary stuff about the band director. Just one more reason to pray for our kids! Have a great day!
