Heart Giggles

When was the last time your heart giggled?

Mine was on Wednesday. My third son was oh so excited when he got off of the school bus. My birthday was this past Sunday and he had been waiting to get his latest art project out of the kiln at school. He presented me with a Smiley Face mug, beautiful fall Autumn leaf drawing and this amazing ceramic creation! He was oh so proud. AND he made my heart giggle!

SO..When was the last time your heart giggled?

  1. Oohh - so pretty here....nice job on the blog...love it!!

Heart giggled - I love it! Well, it happens multiple times a day with 2 babies, but the last time was at 3am this morning when my almost-3 month old looked right at her oh-so-tired mommy...laughed at me and "cooed" so loundly...forgot how tired I was and cooed right back!

  2. On Wednesday, at music class with my 17 mo. old. He wandered to the other side of the room and lost sight of me. All of a sudden I hear "MAMA!" and he ran as fast as he could and gave me a big hug!!!

  3. At music class on Wednesday with my 17 mo. old. He wandered to the other side of the room and lost sight of me (but I was watching him). He finally saw me and yelled, "MAMA!" and came running over with a big hug for me.

  9. My boys make my heart giggle all the time. My baby is a little stinker who thinks he is so cute every time he turns the volume on the TV up and down. The smile he gives just melts your heart. My oldest is a funny one. He told my husband we he couldn't believe he had two go to grandma's again so we could go out to dinner. It was not ok that we have done this two times since he has been 5 (he is almost 6).

  12. Ironically about 5 minutes ago when my daughter (a senior) came home from school excited that she stuck up for her sister (a sophmore) at school today! Yea! They DO listen to me!

It was against a real bee-atch that hangs out with the younger of the two.

  13. this is a great question!
My heart giggled when I picked up my middle son from preschool this morning.
He said " mommy I told my teacher I didn't want to eat snack, I wanted to play. She said okay! Isn't that the best answer".

He let out the loudest giggle where his eyes lit up, it just hit me right in the heart to see him so happy!!

  15. Children definitely do this to my heart. Having one grandbaby across the road the one many states away, it is text pictures and from talking on the phone to them.

  17. Lately it seems like my heart giggles a lot when it comes to my 2 year old. She's just so sweet and affectionate. Anytime she voluntarily gives me a smooch it makes my heart giggle. I love it!

  18. My son said he wouldn't go to Costco with me in his PJs. They are a Thomas the Tank short set. Most people would have no idea they were PJs. "No mommy! I can't do that! I would look SILLY!" Now this child is uninhibited of relieving himself on the side of the road often. HA!

  19. Well, my daughter was playing with this huge balloon (like 2.5ft across) and she was hitting it with a blow up bat, she was having so much fun and although it was bedtime I just couldn't tell her to stop. She was just having a grand time and then she looks at me and says "say stop!" like she just couldn't handle the good time she was having. It was just tooo much

  20. Belated Happy Birthday! Thanks for sharing that sweet moment.

I like your question. The last time I felt that way was a few months ago when hubby surprised me with a lovely sunflower (my favorite flower).

  21. Heart giggled when my 5 year old was able to keep my 17 month old laughing the other day. Apparently big brother is quite hilarious. The little giggles from both of them were too much :)
